We’re a small AI studio that builds and runs the systems most companies only talk about. AI shouldn’t be an add-on — it should be part of a company’s DNA. We help our customers rewire their processes and put AI in the driver’s seat, so their people can focus on navigating the business.
The name is the argument
A cognate is a word that appears in two languages because both grew from one root — night, Nacht, nuit. We think human and machine intelligence are cognates too: different tongues, common descent. So we don’t bolt AI onto a business and hope — every system we ship pairs the machine’s volume with the judgment of people who have run this in production, from day one. Born together, not bolted together.

What we believe

Most companies bolt a chatbot onto a workflow and call it transformation. We rewire the process so the machine drives the routine work and a person navigates the decisions that matter.

The machine brings volume and tirelessness; people bring judgment and accountability. We pair the two on purpose, and we tell you where each one is doing the work.

When a smaller model, an off-the-shelf tool, or no AI at all is the right call, we say so. We'd rather keep a client than win a line item.
